《旅游信息化》课程从信息化和旅游信息的概念出发，全面介绍旅游信息化、旅游信息资源、旅游信息系统等相关概念，阐述旅游信息化发展的现状、问题和前景。课程从旅游目的地信息化、旅游企业信息化两个维度，通过大量翔实的案例说明旅游业如何有效实施信息化，进而说明如何有效地进行旅游信息化管理。通过课程的学习，使学生全面了解旅游业的信息化应用，明确旅游信息化与旅游电子商务的关系，为《旅游电子商务》课程学习打下坚实的基础。

Starting from the concept of and tourism information and managing tourism business with information technology, the course, Tourism Management with IT mainly introduces the concepts of tourism management with IT, tourism information resources and tourism information system. Further, the present situation and problems and the prospect of how to manage tourism industry with IT will be discussed and expounded in the course. The study will give two major research dimensions: managing tourist destination with IT and managing tourism service enterprises with IT. With a mass of cases, the course will study the issues of how to realize the management with IT in tourism industry and how to effectively apply information technology in routine management practice. From this course, students will have a more comprehensive understanding about tourism IT application and the relationship between two related disciplines: tourism management with IT and E-Tourism, which will lay a solid foundation for them to learn E-tourism in the coming semester.
